Rent a birthing pool at Veda

Women who have given birth in a birthing pool often look back better on their birth. Absorbing the contractions in a bath with warm water works better because you can relax well. The warm water also has a pain-relieving effect. Giving birth (or dilation) in the bath reduces the risk of a tear or cut, ensures that you can move more easily and the baby has a calm and gradual transition at birth.

The birthing pool is specially designed for bath deliveries and has a soft bottom, strong edges that you can sit on or hang over, handy handles, cup holder and a seat. The bath has been completely cleaned and checked before delivery so that you are assured of a good and clean birth bath. You rent the bath including everything needed for a pleasant and hygienic bath birth.

Practical information
The costs for renting a birthing pool are €170, including the delivery package and collection of the bath after your birth. (Within a radius of 20 km from Zoetermeer.)

• Sterile cover
• Submersible pump (empties the bath in about 30 minutes)
• Scoop net
• Floor protection mat
• Anti-slip mat
• Thermometer
• 1 pair of long gynecological gloves
• 10 meter non-toxic water hose
• Clear manual

We will take back the bath and the electric inflation pump. For reasons of hygiene, you should throw away the other products after use.
You rent the bath from week 37 of your pregnancy to week 42.

If you have not used the bath in the end, you only pay for the rental of the bath and you will receive the amount of the delivery package of € 40 back. (Note! Only when these are unused and unopened for hygiene reasons.)
